The option of ‘Braked Castors’ is only available when selecting ‘Extras’ for your adjustable bed.
Our Majestic adjustable beds come as standard with wooden feet finished with a felt pad to eliminate the risk of damage to the floor. if you need to move the bed regularly and find it difficult, it may be a good idea to upgrade to ‘Braked Castors’ Simply flick the small brake lever up to unlock, reposition and then push the brake down to lock it.
Our castors have a load capacity of 50kg each in comparison to general quality castors having a rating of only 30kg. Each caster has a 10mm threaded bolt, which is secured using a spanner supplied, into a steel threaded insert housed in a hardwood corner post for strength.
